Wanna get good at Space Triangle Royale? Here are a few tips straight from the creator of the game.

PRO TIP 1: Movement

You lose turning speed the faster you move. If you're already going fairly quick you can steer sharper by braking at the same time. You can also hold shift to turn slower allowing for more precise aiming.

PRO TIP 2: Meteoroids & Power Ups

If you find yourself near a meteoroid you should try to destroy it. Doing this will give you three points and it will drop a power up. When picked up power ups not only restore your power but also gives you a temporary advantage chosen at random. There are three different power ups available:

• Triple triangle Makes your triangle shoot three lasers at a time for the cost of one
• Space-shield Prevents damage from being hit by lasers and crashing into other triangles
• Ghost Makes your triangle difficult to see and hides it from radar

PRO TIP 3: Combos

The quickest way to score some points is to chain combos. There is a gap of time after each time you destroy a triangle allowing you to start or add to a combo. Combos will give you up to 5 extra points. If you destroy a triangle and still have a good amount of energy remaining it may not be a bad idea to start moving towards the next nearest triangle to start one.

PRO TIP 4: Radar

You should always keep an eye on the radar ring that surrounds your triangle. The circle points to the nearest meteoroid. The smaller arrows will point to the nearest triangles. The large arrow always points to the top player in the session. You may get extra points by taking out the top player, depending on the score they have. The items on the radar will blink if the corresponding object is nearby. This is when you should point at them and start shooting, as they are getting in range. You can also use the radar to avoid the enemy triangles when you are low on energy.

PRO TIP 5: Blackholes

If you see a blackhole you may be able to use it defensively when low on energy. If you are being chased you can lead other triangles to fly into it. You can even wait near one while charging up energy, as long as you keep up enough speed to just barely avoid being pulled into it.
